This nutrient assists in myelination via multiple pathways, however, in my opinion the most important pathway is through progesterone production. Progesterone is more than just a hormone associated with fertility and endometrial growth, but also a neuro-steroid. Progesterone’s main function as a neuro-steroid is Myelination. Progesterone is made from Cortisol, which is made from Cholesterol.
Omega 3’s
These are essential fatty acids which assist in protecting the brain from dementia, fighting depression & anxiety, reducing the symptoms of ADHD, reducing mood swings and relapses in psychiatric illness such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and assists in fighting insomnia. In fact, the brain is around 60-70% lipid, meaning, majority of the brain is fatty material. The thing about the human body is that everything undergoes wear and tear, including the brain. In order to rebuild brain tissue, fats are required.
B vitamins
Amino acids
Amino acids such as Tryptophan, Glutamine, Tyrosine, and Taurine are the raw materials for producing neuro-transmitters such as Dopamine (needed for Parkinson’s), Serotonin (needed for depression), and GABA (needed for fibromyalgia).

Certain people get amazing results from including eggs in their diet while others feel sick. If you are unable to consume eggs, I would recommend substituting with Avocados.
